Does Fiji Water Have Fluoride? Fluoride-free water has become a popular topic in the last few years. Now according to the back of a Fiji water bottle, Fiji water contains 0.24 ppm of fluoride. Methods and Materials: Commercially available bottled water in Fiji, in March 2006 was purchased from supermarkets. Fluoride is the only chemical added to treat people who consume the water, rather than the water itself. At present, Fiji lacks water fluoridation and therefore a baseline of the fluoride content in drinking water supplies is essential before water fluoridation is implemented.
